Are the LinkedIn profile edits carried out directly on my LinkedIn account?

As a result, we do not directly edit your LinkedIn profile on your account. Logging into someone else's account (that is not your own) is against LinkedIn's Terms of Service (TOS).

This could potentially result in an immediate ban.

Thus, you should never be requested for your personal Linkedin login information (email and password). We will provide you with a PDF version of your profile with the changes that you will be requested to make to your profile. Simply copy and paste into the corresponding sections. This allows you to contrast and compare the edits and make sure you are comfortable with them in your own time.
